Commercial Laboratory Advisor (Part-time – school hours)

Wilten Instruments Benelux has been the reliable supplier of high-quality instruments and consumables for the laboratory and research market since 1952. From Etten-Leur we serve customers throughout the Benelux. For the region Southwest Netherlands we are looking for an energetic colleague who enjoys visiting laboratories, making contacts and adding real value for our customers.
Your role
As a Commercial Laboratory Advisor you will visit clients on location, usually within school hours. You maintain existing customer relations and you also dare to make new contacts, for example by walking into a lab or picking up the phone. You know what is going on in the lab, ask good questions and think actively about solutions.
Although we are not looking for a hardcore salesperson, cold acquisition is not a problem for you – you know how to make a new contact in a substantive way. No sales pitches, but a professional and engaging conversation.
What will you do?
- Maintain contact with existing customers in your area (both physically and remotely)
- Visiting laboratories during school hours
- Establish new customer contacts (including cold acquisition)
- Thinking along about suitable solutions and products
- Spotting commercial opportunities and market developments
- Feedback customer insights to the team in Etten-Leur
What do you bring?
- HBO work and thinking level, preferably with laboratory background
- Experience in customer contact or sales is a plus
- Fluent, independent and proactive attitude
- Good communication skills
- Solution-oriented and curious
- Excellent command of Dutch and English
